1937 Pierce Arrow Travelodge

$8,500.00

 On Consignment:

The Pierce Arrow Car Company did make more then just cars. They did make RVs that we call motor homes today. They also built what we call travel trailers. They built the 1937 Models in Three sizes. This is the 16' Model which was used by a salesman, dressing room, camping lodge and other uses. The larger 18' trailer was the typical size for Camping Trailers but, the 16' such as this trailer was used but, not as common. Pierce Arrow would build you what you wanted and almost each trailer was a custom build. This is a Very Rare chance to own one of these trailers. It is claimed that there was between 400-450 built total. All documents were destroyed after the company went under in 1937. We have very little information available about these trailers.

This trailer is missing the door. The window frames are there but, in very poor condition and will require a fabrication. The Extremely Rare Spare Tire Mount is on this trailer. You just don't see many with that feature. We will note that the exterior lights are missing.

This is a Rare Opportunity to own one of these trailers. You will get a trailer with its original tag in place as seen in the photos. The frame is in good condition.

This trailer is only offered online and not on our Sales lot. IF your interested in Viewing it in person. Stop in our office and ask us to view it.

We recommend to flatbed this trailer home. We can assist in transport within 100 miles of the shop. Extra fees will apply.
